VietPOS Rack completes selective racking for logistics center in Binh Duong

In April 2026, VietPOS Rack officially handed over a 6-tier selective pallet rack system to the distribution center of a multinational logistics partner in Binh Duong. This is one of the largest-scale industrial racking projects completed by the brand in the first half of 2026, from design to acceptance in just 14 weeks.

High Technical Requirements, Tight Lead Time

The client set three core technical requirements: racks with a load capacity of up to 2,500 kg/level for diverse pallet goods ranging from FMCG to electronics; compliance with the European standard FEM 10.2.02 to meet the parent corporation’s internal audit; and on-time delivery before the Q4 logistics peak season. A tight lead time meant the entire cycle from shop drawings to installation and acceptance could not exceed four months.

The VietPOS Rack design team completed the detailed shop drawings within the first three weeks, synchronizing with the client’s WMS (Warehouse Management System) layout to optimize forklift aisle spacing and storage density. The space utilization rate reached approximately 78% — a significant level compared to the average benchmark for distribution warehouses in Vietnam.

In-House Production — The Key to Ensuring Lead Time

Rack components are manufactured at the in-house factory of VIET DUC TRI GROUP in the Tan Duc Industrial Park (Tay Ninh), which has been operating since 2018 with dedicated CNC cutting lines and electrostatic powder coating. Self-sufficiency in production allows VietPOS Rack to control the quality of each steel batch, avoiding import dependency — a key factor in meeting schedule commitments for large-scale projects.

Each component comes with a steel mill cert certificate, welding and painting inspection reports, traceable to the production batch. This is a standard that FDI clients always require in technical acceptance documentation.

Three-Pronged Deployment Team Operating Simultaneously

During the installation phase, VietPOS Rack coordinated three deployment teams working simultaneously on-site: the upright and beam (rack frame) installation team, the wire decking and pallet support (rack surface) installation team, and the tolerance check and floor anchor bolt tightening team. This division of teams allowed for parallel work on multiple rack zones — reducing on-site time from 6 weeks down to 4 actual working weeks.

The lesson learned from the project: for large-scale projects, on-site manpower coordination capability is no less important than production capability. VietPOS Rack’s investment in dedicated deployment teams at six offices — without subcontracting — is a distinct advantage compared to units that only distribute imported racks.

Expanding the Logistics Project Portfolio

Following the Binh Duong project, VietPOS Rack is currently in the quotation phase for two other distribution centers in Long An and Hai Phong. The professional logistics racking segment has been identified as one of the brand’s main growth areas for the 2026–2028 period, alongside the traditional supermarket shelving segment.
